On Thursday, August 20, at 8:30 a.m. Eastern, Norton will release a maintenance update to the Norton Ebook Reader and Norton Illumine ebooks. This release includes a migration of illumine-genai from labs to ebook namespace in Gitlab, NortonAI Smart Practice improvements and bug fixes, PII removal from specific error messages, infrastructure and security updates, bug fixes, and visual updates.

For the deployment of the Smart Practice demo mode bug fix, a brief outage of NortonAI (1 minute or less) is expected.
